Thoughts about Change

Today is a day that many think, hope, and believe that change has to come to these United States of America. During Barack Obama’s Inauguration, two things stood out to me. Firstly, how embarrising must it be to flub on your oath in front of the entire nation like he did? Secondly, he made the statement “The world has changed and we must change with it”. This is a very true and thought-provoking statement, especially with the rapid expansion of technologies of our world today.

I am officially a junior programmer for the web company JHouseMedia. I’ve been working there for a week, and it’s been a very exciting and educational expierience. I’ve probably learned more in my first week on the job there that will help me in my career than I learned in four years of college.

I always though coding from scratch was a real waste of time, since so much of the code is going to be the same in any WordPress theme. That’s why I created the WP Core theme. It’s been a handy tool for myself, and now I’m releasing it, and I hope it will be a help to all of you too.

10 Goals for 2009

After taking a look back at 2008, I thought it would be a good idea to do a little bit of goal setting for the new year.  I want to look at goals pertaining to both current websites I own, and potential projects and work in the upcoming year.

2008 Year In Review

This blog started on January 1st, 2008. I figured it would be a good way to end off the year and celebrate the one year anniversary of this blog by taking a look at all the things that went on during my internet journey.
