PSDTuts Recently put up a tutorial called “How to Create a Hellacious Flaming Skull in Photoshop” , which is a valuable skill to have for any web designer in my opinion, especially if there are a lot of metal bands in your area. I decided to follow the tutorial and see how I could do.
Blank Wordpress Theme - WP Core 1.0
If you ever want to design your own wordpress theme, you used to only have two options: open up a free theme like cutline or the default and start editing, or start coding from scratch. I always though coding from scratch was a real waste of time, since so much of the code is going to be the same in any WordPress theme. That’s why I created the WP Core theme. It’s been a handy tool for myself, and now I’m releasing it, and I hope it will be a help to all of you too.

Examing a Blog Makeover
As you can see, this blog recently underwent a facelift. It’s not as drastic as the last time I updated this blog, but I was toying with it, wanted to give it a cleaner look, and ended up with this. I figured it would be an interesting look at the design process to examine the [...]
