Performancing Ads Changes Affiliate Structure
For those that didn’t get the e-mail, Performancing Ads has recently changed their affiliate structure.
Their old way of payment:
–get someone to sign up, place the ads on their web page and leave them for 30 days, you get $10 plus 5% of ads they sell. If you sign someone up as an advertiser, you get 5% of what they buy.
Their new way:
–sign someone up, you get 5% of all the ads that they buy and sell.
The last system was a little frustrating. I had about 10 sign ups, but none of them kept the ads up for 30 days and I didn’t get a dime. The new system is a little more transparent, but I still think Performancing needs to do a lot of work if they ever really want to be successful.
They’re great if you want to manage and book ads yourself on the site, but I never had any bookings or know anyone that did through their service. Besides, it wouldn’t be hard to approach your advertisers directy and get 100% of the profit.
So has anyone ever gotten any sells via performancing, or bought any advertising? What was your expierience like?
I have been trying them out for the last few months with underwhelming results. I’ve earned about $30 overall so I’m probably going to ditch the service soon and start selling my own ads.
Are you still going to use their system for managing their ads, or use something else?
As with all advertising services some folks get paying advertisers and some don’t. I have worked on a free PDF that will be going out to subscribers that I hope will help folks sell more, regardless of through the system or sold direct.
Let me know if you would like to be one of the first to take a look and give me feedback before it goes out to the masses.
